Just a reminder that I look forward to seeing you at the Fair. Entry is £2 a head and all paying visitors will have a free entry into a draw for a bottle of whiskey and a fine split cane rod. If you want to bring items of tackle to be sold on the Ravenfield Ponds Bring & Buy Stall please label them clearly with the price you want. We will only be dealing in cash so you will have to wait until the conclusion of the fair to get the sale proceeds as we are not able to process the sale proceeds in any other way. There is a good variety of stalls selling both modern and vintage tackle and books. The Phoenix Sports & Recreation Club has excellent bar and catering facilities. If I have time I will try to put up direction signs from the M1 but most people have access to Satnav devices so that would appear not to be necessary.

I will unfortunately not be able to attend this year as we have a family 'gathering' on the day. I guess being a Bank Holiday it is inevitable that a few will be missing who would have otherwise attended.
I hope it is a successful fair for the organisers, is well attended and that bargains are had by all, yet it is worthwhile for the stall holders.

I'm afraid I have to bow out too, family commitments over the Easter w/e and my wifes' birthday which had escaped my memory until today :surrender:
Just been out scary shopping :Scared:
I do hope it all goes well for the fundraisers, buyers and sellers and an enjoyable time is had by all. :Hat:

Well, I SHALL be there.
I must say in advance that I do not need any more fishing tackle.

But that's not to say I do not WANT any more fishing tackle.
Probably like 99% of us.
