I have two of Rob's books on recommendation from Tengisgol (Phil) who is friends with Rob, and I concour his writing does have a relaxing style and tempo that suits my tastes
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Welcome aboard Sussex man from West Sussex man
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

Re: New Member from Sussex
To all the above who've kindly welcomed me aboard the good ship TFF, hearty thanks! I'm 70 years old and hopelessly stuck in "my time" (sort of 1960s-70s). There is so much good stuff on TFF that it's really difficult to add novel items but will do my very best. Best regards to one and all.

Welcome, I like old angling books, some I collect, some I read, I like looking for new ways to fish from long forgotten ways.
