Mine came today and it has stamped on it 'General Education and Science, Brooklands Technical College, Weybride' and in red ink the number '19'. I think it gives it a bit of character'

And here it is with some of my floats.

Mine's number 4 from the same place, Mark.

It was just that the item description and photo on the ebay listing did not mention or show the lettering. If I'd been listing it I would have made it clear.

I got mine from the same ebay seller but there is nothing written on it.So I guess they are all different.

That's very nice Mark, lovely floats. I liked Snape's suggestion of a ridged dowel or similar. Now yours is loaded do you feel it's needed?

I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Just found this post, hope my blog inspired some float storage solutions?

Basically I keep short and river floats in a roll and wagglers in a Palmer float tube, this limits me to around 30 floats in total which I feel covers most situations, some floats do go in and out of favour though.

Re the stiffening in the roll, once the fabric roll if full of floats and rolled up it is quite stiff and well protected.

It appears that the original dealer now has some more in stock
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/INSTRUMENT-Ro ... 416b3f5649

Except they have now gone up in price to £5.75 (from £3.75) but the postage has dropped from £2.85 to £2.20!!!
