The restorer is a magician of that there is no doubt. That reel you thought was for spares is now as good as when it left the factory, and what a reel it is! My favourite reels are the ABU Cardinals and I am green with envy!

Pleasure has been all mine Ray, have to say I think my many years of working with paint helped get this one right and your many hours of hard work creating it too, its so dam good, I thought the pearl white reel was good but this one just seems to better it, just

Seeing this was the last post that my good friend Ray Moss posted on I thought I would use it to let members and friends of Ray know that the poor chap has had a nasty accident, 4 days ago Ray got into difficulty with some gun wash thinners and after tripping over with a litre of the stuff in a jug he suffered some nasty burns to his head, back both arms and hands when it ignited, he is at this moment in Intensive care in Wakefield hospital and I am in touch with his wife on his recovery. I will pass on any wishes to Ray from members here no problem.
