I don't have a link, but Google angling direct, it should come up fairly easily. The VASS ones are also on a well know auction website. I have no idea if they are rubber uppers- the DAIWA ones def aren't tho- I'm not sure what the material is, the VASS ones prob are tho...

I was just reading Coarse Fishing by H. T. Sheringham (a 1912 edition) and this advert is on the first few pages.

Looks like John might have got his idea from here. :Chuckle:

For what it is worth although it will cost you a little more but you will find them comfier, I have also cut neoprene waders down in the past with no issues of the cuts running or splitting either. First pair I cut down were some chest waders into thigh waders. that was several years ago and they are still fine.

Nice elegantly styled heel on those waders on your advert Mark - they'd be crippling walking a mile over rough ground to reach the bits of river most don't bother with.
