I have also recently acquired what i believe to ba a president it is 7ft long , but has been poorly refinished at some time in the past, and no longer has a label. It does however come in an allcocks bag which would appear to be a perfect fit for the rod. It is quite heavy duty, but has very old rod guides, i think they are called caeramic bridge guides?. They are basically a wire twist similar to a snake ring holding a hefty white porcelain ring trapped via a central groove. any ideas of the age of this would be appreciated.
