Found a forked stick in the bank on my fly fishing trip last week. Fishing the worm is allowed at this time of year, so I guess someone had tried it

Very nice Snape,
I saw those, also a very nice landing net head.
Something I'm going to look at as I change to a traditional set up, my current black fox rod rests don't suit cane.

How do you stop the line catching in those rod rests that are made of two big plastic loops, the type used by many barbel fishermen? I always get my line caught in the middle where the two loops meet!!!
