The most precious places in the English landscape are those secretive corners,
where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Re: Centrepins
I bought it from a friend of mine a couple of years ago for £5, it also came with the box and papers, the only thing wrong with the reel is the original owner scratched his initials on the inside of the spool. I won,t be using this one.

Re: Centrepins
I've just bought one of these and another version, the 'Featherflo'. Both for very little money at all but they both seem more than capable of doing the job I require. I wanted a pin to use fishing a small Lincolnshire river using my Christmas present from the wife. Along the course of the river I could be fishing for minnows and gudgeon in the upper reaches to 5lb chub where it opens up a bit. At the prices I paid I can have one loaded with 3lb line and one with 6lb.The Sweetcorn Kid wrote:Here is the only centrepin I own. I don't use it much but when I do it's very enjoyable. It's not a fast spinner so I can handle it quite well without bird nests.
Can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it modern??
