Hello MGs-I thought you might have a few problems swapping chucks from different drills. If the chuck jaws are visibly worn, it's usually time to say goodbye to them..
didn't realize that you were still looking for replacements though..
I usually buy most of my tooling needs from D.H.S.Tool Supplies in Plymouth (could be worth a call?), but by chance, saw some various Jacobs chucks, with keys, in the Tool Dept. at Trago Mills, Liskeard, some time ago, in their sales and snapped up a couple. I was looking for a Dremel mini chuck at the time-which they didn't have, but had different sizes of the larger chucks; female 3/8" & 1/2" UNF screw fitting and other smaller ones were Morse taper. I think they were about £12.50p?
Never realized that they were getting a bit difficult to source now. Try giving Trago a call and see if they have any left..
Is this link any good to you?
