CatalogueChris Ball (1946-2023), one of the most noted carp anglers of the last 50 years, historian, archivist, author, presenter and quite simply, one of the most likeable and knowledgeable individuals to be found in the world of modern carp fishing. Inducted into the Carp Hall of Fame in 2011, he was also a former President of the Carp Society. Chris will perhaps be best remembered for his encyclopedic knowledge of the history of modern carp fishing, the men and the tackle they used.

Several lots in the April Angling Auctions catalogue are from the estate of Chris Ball, late of this parish (lots 450 - 469). The remainder of the collection will be in the September auction.
