I'm sure that I'm late to the game, (I usually am),but I have just finished reading Along Fishermen's Paths by Mike Winter,and for me it is one of the best angling books I've ever read.
He captures beautifully everything that an angler should be and the essential beauty of what it is to fish,If you haven't read it then treat yourself.

It is indeed a splendid book, most appealing to traditional anglers. Check out a train to catch by Jon Berry also a golden scale club member.
