D.Q. Finessa 280

Post by Caneforme »

I am not very familiar with DAM reels, but Andrew Davis recommended them to me, and having seen the stripped down ones on here (which shows them to be very well engineered) I have been on the lookout for a nice one.

I have found a very nice looking Finessa 280 on an auction site and have placed a bid.

Does anyone know what the production years were for this model?

Thank you, John :)

Great reels and very robust. The four DAM reels that i have seem to be made out of old Panzer tanks so consequently are not the lightest of reels.

Thanks

Roland Lindengergh has an excellent website with all the info you'll need, but late 50's off the top of my head for a 280. Excellent reels. Regards Cat

That's brilliant thank you Cat.

Having checked out the web site (it's brilliant) the Quick Finessa 280 would have been made between Nov 1956 and 1960.
