Capta weights etc.

I remember Capta leads (pyramid-shaped with a swivel on the top), but I never fished anywhere with a sufficiently powerful current to warrant using them. I don't suppose you can still buy them anywhere?

I do remember possessing a capta lead, but can't remember ever using one!

I've got one in a tin of other illegal leads I can't bring myself to part with; I'll try to remember to take a photo of it.

Steve, I would be very interested in the Allcocks Carp Superb rod bag as I own such a rod without the original bag, I'm guessing it is for a 10 foot rod?

BTW welcome to the forum

Steve, that's most generous, if there are any old items you may be in search for please let me know, I have all sorts of useless (well not really) items that are come from a bygone period. PM sent

How I wish I had your loft, the only thing in mine is non angling related junk, although I do have an East Anglia swing tip rod up there somewere, how I wish that was a Glass MKIV

Hi STEVEC.

It so happen's that I have an B&W bag for an 11ft stepped up glass MK1V, but alas not the rod to
go with it. So, as you are feeling in such a generous mood, I was just wondering. :hahaha: :hahaha:

I like the fact that behind the TFF forum lies a network of like-minded people giving away useful bits and bobs of angling paraphernalia. Thanks Steve and FB the Journals will be in the post this week...I've just found them.
