I am speechless. Seeing a flash of red like that I'd probably think somehow, in someway, maybe, just maybe, I'd be seeing the red stripe of a big rainbow trout. But when you got to the bridge and went through the feelings you had, that would be enough for me to get out of there.
What an interesting story you found about the two lovers, and how they died. I don't think I'd be able to sleep that night after going through that and finding the history about it.
