Understatement of the century!

Post by Fredline »

Check out Watermoles' profile description, it states "Semi-skilled". Are you sure?
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I spotted that a while ago and it made me smile.

He is also a very modest chap too.

I feel we are blessed to have him as part of this online community.

ps: no one seems to ever mention it but his photography is also very highly skilled. :Hat:

I am always amazed at the skill of the members on this forum. They are all modest with it too.

I can do a few things to make my old kit usable and normally happy with the outcome.
You then enjoy other posts relating to tackle restoration and then the posts about making tackle tackle from scratch and these members are in the premier league.

All enjoyable please let it continue.

All the best.

Nige.

If that were correct it would make me 'semi- conscience' :Hahaha: :surrender:

With the greatest of respect I would suggest the description is true. I'm also sure WM+ would agree. Although I'm sure now he's dedicating more time to machining the skill level has increased somewhat. WM+ once told me he possess no special skills and I agree. However, and here's the key, WM+ has the eye, dedication, patience and determination to succeed. Others may possess the skill but few people have the rest of the qualities to produce the standard of work he does.

He's also an exceptionally nice gent and modest to boot. We should be pround to have him in our little group.
I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing.
