My job was to bring the two of them together, to collect the rod at Northern Nomad's house, to transport it safely to Germany and to rewhip two eyes and a few inters.

I really enjoyed handling this fine rod as none of my own rods meet the quality of it.
Although the work haven't been fully completed yet, a coat or two of varnish will give the whippings a much better finish, I handed the rod over to Hannes last weekend. He had planned a special trip to the river to christen his very first cane rod.
I explained him the basics of handling a cane rod and off he went a very happy man.
Today he sent me a short report and some pictures of the christening.
He caught two perch and two chub. Another angler seems to converted to cane and that's my fault - guilty as charged.

Now we need to find Hannes a proper Centrpin and I have to convince him to become a member of the TFF.
Thank you Mal,Sir, for this beautiful rod!
