Dreamy Breamy
Herr Bartlett Mole went to a very difficult gravel pit recently and caught the biggest Beam he has ever seen.......
....all 15lb 2oz of it. Oh er Missus not noted for fighting prowess all this one did was swim straight into the net
Much pie and slurping tea was taken in celebration, in between attempting to wipe slime from every bit of fishing equipment in the vicinity.
Matron was not in the best of moods upon the return of her sweaty, beslimed spouse. Women just don't see what all the fuss is about; bless 'em!
As ever,.......

Re: Dreamy Breamy
That is a corker Herr Bartlett and beats my PB by a clear 10lbs although I fish a lake a couple of times a year where Bream are claimed to run to 17lbs and it must be one of the few places where I have never caught a bream!! The little fellas I manage to catch though like my sweetcorn, bread flake and luncheon meat.
As a matter of interest was the bait that secured your PB here one of your pies - I am sure I can make out a pie outline on the fish. If so what was the weight of the pie you used as bait. as we could have a 4lb bream here and an 11lb pie.
Well done.

Wayhay, what a bream you got there moley,it must have knew it would get caught one day bacause it even had the foresight to grow a lump just in the perfect spot for helping with holding it.what did you use for bait,a grain of corn or a cob of corn?
Don’t cast doubt,cast out.

What a 'dustbin lid' !!!!! Heartiest congratulations, Sir.

Re: Dreamy Breamy
There is something really pungent about Bream Slime; it doesn't get better with age either!
Pies are sacrosanct in Mole eyes or more truthfully his stomach and a truly wonderful combination with slurping tea......trust me a Fat Man never lies about good scran.
The shoes inadvertently in the picture are Vans and a bit trendy but in mitigation they are very comfy, not the usual old man's shoes and my daughter bought them for me.
Thankyou everyone for the kind words about the catch but Fatty will always admit to the flukey nature of his fishing, oh yes.
As ever,........
