Welcome to the forum, Parker.
You are certainly on the right track. Based on the experiences of most forum members, it won't be long before your tackle collection is expanded
to include a few more cane rods, maybe a half-bail Mitchell, and a couple of centrepins. Traditional fishing is so pleasant and so addictive. Enjoy the forum.

Darenth and the Darenth valley area in the late 70's and early 80's was at the vanguard of early modern carping has become.
I used to love fishing Sutton at Hone and Horton Kirby .
