Rod bag saved

Post by LuckyLuca »

I've had an Efgeeco rod bag knocking around the shed for ages. Too big to be practical. Too nice to just dump.

A garden clear out ment the pressure was on to be ruthless this time around.

Thanks to an  and a sharp pair of scissors a nice happy medium was found.
The side pockets will make a nice little rod bag

I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Nice job LuckyLuca, saved the rod bag and created a brolly wrap!
The good angler is not the one with expensive equipment. Common sense, observation and trying to realize
what is happening above and below water will catch fish no matter what price equipment you fish with.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Looks good to me. Much more practical size in my opinion.

Cheers Chaps.
At close to 7' it was never going to be used again. The pockets measure up just under 5' and were on the bank with me today. I saved the shoulder strap to so just need to devise a way to attach it.

Now that's lateral thinking and a good utilisation of unused surplus kit, well thought out indeed.....now what have I got I can chop up.....?

I love a good repurposing of something. I've been trying to devise a minimalist quiver for a rod, rest and landing net pole; secure enough to carry them without falling out but small enough to fold up into your pocket when you're bankside. Still trying.
