Homemade Blackthorn catapult
I cut a blackthorn V a few years ago and ive finally got round to finishing it. Nicely varnished with copper end caps drilled and fitted with small eyelets to reduce the friction with the elastic.

Splendid, Sir. Well done.

Very nice indeed. Might I ask where you got the end caps?

Like that a lot. Just how a catapult should look for me.
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

That is just beautiful. well done on spotting it and the making of it.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.
