R Sealey's Tudor "Salmon Fly."

Post by AshbyCut »

The second of the rods by this maker I collected from Redditch Tackle Fair today ... badged with the 'Bernard Sealey & Co.,' it's a 2 piece, 1fft., all split cane rod with a 19in. handle called the "R. Sealey's Tudor Salmon Fly" ... a delicately tapered rod but with obvious 'backbone' given it's name.

It has a 19in. cork handle, which I'll be leaving in it's original condition though I'm sure some might have extended to make a 'coarse' rod.
