Video of fishing at Redmire
It isn't using cane and pin etc but the approaches are pretty trad.
This is a wonderful 25-minute video of fishing at Redmire with some lovely fish caught using simple, mobile approaches.
Not jealous!

I love the enthusiasm that he shows and his obvious appreciation of the place. The gudgeon match looked like a lot of fun too.

Nice to see the place looking so lovely and seeing some big carp on the bank.

That's my net head, handle and mitchell 300 in the opening. The Mark IV belongs to Kevin Nash. Nice to help out, think they did the pool proud.

Alain Blair seems to be a nice bloke. A friendly character with loads of respect for the fish and seems to have a lot of joy in what he does.
Always fun to watch his movies and even better with Redmire in it. Some nice shots giving more insight in the place.

I've got to admit I an a fan of Alan blair's- I've never seen him show less than 100% appreciation for every fish he catches as well as decent fish care. The rest of the video is well worth watching too..

I think he's a robot. I'm sure if you cut him it would reveal wires and cables rather than blood.
Whenever I've seen him he's always mega upbeat, always smiling and a great ambassador to the youngsters coming into angling. Big thing about being a robot is not needing to sleep and still very bright and alert.
Or is that just the drugs?
Sorry, only joking, watched a few minutes of the Redmire footage and look forward to seeing the rest later.

Really nicely filmed, captures what it must be like at Redmire ( i've never been there) .
I'll watch the video properly on our large screen TV this evening ( nice to have Youtube on the bigscreen).
