Another landing net handle!
This one's a composite of an old boat rod and the butt section of a broken Mar o test. The bottom part is original to the sea rod (black wood) and I've wound cork tape around where the cane was rounded. The handle is about 7' long!

Thanks chaps! I forgot to mention how I made the cork tape part! After googling cork tape I found an American site where they twist the tape on but leave a small gap between to form a spiral, and then whip in thick coloured thread to form a thin spiral of colour; and as wwell as looking nice it adds grip. So that's what I did! !
