Brooke Bond Fish Cards
Does anyone remember the picture cards that used to come in packs of Brooke Bond tea? One of the sets of cards was for freshwater fish and I have just got my hands on a set in the album that could be bought to stick the cards in. At the same time I got a lovely little book called What Fish is That, published by the British Fields Sports Society. Both of them include the Burbot so that if nothing else dates them.

Yes I had the full set of cards in the Brooke Bond album. Happy memories.
The coiled line travels from the reel, it brings up at last, the hook goes home, and then begins the test of skill. "BB"

That chub picture always excited me as a kid. I had the full set, probably still do if I was to excavate the loft, they were wonderful images.

Re: Brooke Bond Fish Cards
I have the Freshwater Fish set from Brooke Bond tea and also one odd card from the set that is the Bass! I have a number of card sets on my walls in double glass frames and I am undecided as to which one I am going to change to the fish. I have a set called curious beaks that my wife does not care much for, that will probably yield the donor frame. That set of freshwater fish reminds me so much of when I was a kid that I must get them up on the wall, and this thread has just jogged my memory for the task.

My father very kindly donated me this book, I think it is completed but I cannot be sure from memory. I'll have a little look later and post some photos ![Sun :Sun:](./images/smilies/icon_sun.gif)
