A sneaky bid, don't tell the wife!!

Post by Kingfisher »

I just won this, I couldn't be here when the auction finished, so I thought I'd be outbid.

Read the description and see what it says, a nice bit of history if it's right.

I bought it for carp fishing really with a centrepin reel. Do you think it's up to the job?

Looks like a cracker to me Kingfisher, probably a salmon spinning or worming rod, but I'd think ideal for carp.......nice price, well done! :Thumb: And don't worry we won't tell your wife........we've all done it! Wal knows all my secret purchases! Ha! :Hahaha:

I'll tell you what though, I get moaned at for buying a £30 rod but when women buy stuff (and they'll always point out the price) for 99p but there are loads of them the postage alone is the same price as a rod.

You ain't not been robbed there! Love the handle - very Hardy LRH style. Clearly designed for a fixed-spool or multiplier. Hum. . .

I've got the same rod Matt, its perfect for stalking carp and I've also had a couple of pike on it, its a bit of a beast and it won't let you down. Good purchase mate, worth facing the wrath any day of the week.

If you look at my blog it will definitely be okay with a pin.
