Fishing By George Clifford?

Does anybody have a copy of 'Fishing by George Clifford'? I have a bid on a copy that is currently on eBay. It apparently has illustrations by Bernard Venables. I have read elsewhere that it is a book that is aimed at the younger reader/angler but what does that mean? It was first published in 1948 and I tend to find that books from a few decades ago are more in depth and less simplistic than the books intended for youngsters of today.

Any comments?
