minnow whip

Post by Martin »

I can't take credit for making the whip itself as I spotted it at my local tip the other week and it accidentally ended up in my car, I have however modified it and added a new end ring and bent some stainless into a pig tail so I can thread the loop of my rig through the end eye and secure it in the pigtail a bit of rig tubing over the end eye adds extra security.

Thought I'd best make a rig winder to mount my minnow Bob on so a couple of lollipop sticks and a whittled down cork provided me with a suitable winder

Now I can go catch my minnow livebaits in true traditional boy angler fashion

Don't forget to take a jam jar with a string handle tied around the top Martin, just like Peter on APFA. :Chuckle:
