I've certainly only ever seen the W.A. Allcock Adonis, which is usually listed as a barbel rod.

I think this is a Allcocks Carp Superb not a Special, worth asking the seller. I have a Superb and.. well I love it, probably my most used rod, some think the handle is a little too long, mine also has a pretty ballooned cork handle at the butt, makes it quite a nice looking rod.
Check the length?
