Hello All,
Just wondering if any of you make your own line clips and how? I have in the past just used an elastic band wrapped around the blank and put the line in this but it is a little un-sightly!
I normally free line for Perch with the spool arm open so need something to stop the line from spilling out. I have made my own drop off indicators but I really dont like using them if I can avoid it!
Thanks,
Llyr

Re: Line clips?
Before line clips were incorporated onto rods I used to tape a matchstick to the rod and tuck the line under that
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

I would have thought you a bit of split bamboo could be cut, fettled and sanded and shaped nicely then whipped into place to match the other tyings on your rod.

Old fashioned hair grips have served well over the years.
