You clearly must have the same kind of serious champagne habit as me.

What is your favourite word?
I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

Only 14.25€ (that's 12.50 of your English pounds) at my local Monoprix at the moment for a bottle of Monopole Blue Label (my favourite) and I have a couple of rods that need new buttons........ :Thumb:

If you like it and you get useful angling materials then it's got to be winner! I have connections with a "boutique" hotel who's guests have expensive habits. On request I used champagne corks to make a fly rod grip for the owner (simmer them to get the most out of each cork) I can't stand to drink more than a glass of the stuff myself - it gives me instant heart burn - but do like a black velvet :Sun:

That's a good idea and a good work. :Thumb:

This has just saved me a fortune!! I was going to buy a load of rubber buttons for my landing net handle exploits but fortunately have a few hundred champagne corks ready to go (from float making normally). Thank you for sharing your brilliant idea.
