plastic loop bite indicater (recycled spools clips)

Post by Chavender »

just a simple re-use of those plastic ring clips off new line spools ,you jusy hang them over your line ,thay'll fall off on the strike .most are plain but sometimes you get them with cut outs to let them clip over the line better.

I also use them on my centrepins to hold the tag ends down and prevent tangles / loose line when not being used ,so usually have one too hand as a emergency bite indicator ...

I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it! Steve

We used to use a piece of plastic pipe, cut it into rings and slice across. If you then pushed a straight rod into the bank it stopped the ring from flying around in the wind and it slid up or down nicely. The old Monkey climbers were basically the same thing.
