Tinca tinca display hand made

Post by Evert van der Plas »

just finished this Tinca tinca display, i was wondering how it would be to make anything like this and there is only one way to find out.
Carved the body's out off wood and made the fins from clay that i baked for 30 minutes, i worked from a picture that i printed out the size i want them to make and start from there, it is the first time i make something like this and i think it does look nice for a first attempt

If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Stunning work Evert!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.
