Having done some heavy duty sewing in the past nor related to leatherwork.
I would recommend you try a sailmakers palm, not expensive and they don't
half help on the push through.
Very good looking finish there, you have a natural eye for tidy.

That's perfect, Paul...and a good deal nicer looking than the rare old Hardy original. I had no idea you could buy the tube on eBay, but it's the contrasting leatherwork that really sets it off.
