Bank sticks, ( Post 2 )

Post by Muscavado »

Gentlemen,

As my previous post got lost in the ether during the changeover, and i was in the middle of answering questions I thought that I would repost it again.
These are my first attempt and two of them were made from old broken split cane rods whilst the other one was fashioned out of a garden cane,
The rest tops were made from an old alloy landing net hoop cut into 3.25" sections, to which I added some heat shrink for a modicum of protection.
I am currently making a cane landing net handle and have been reading up on some of the landing nets that some of the members have made so, another project looms

John

Ps. I'm thinking of covering my Korum chair in Harris Tweed ( seriously, yes I am )....is this a good idea or am I just sad?

I suspect it was a victim of the forum upgrade. Mark said a few topics may have been lost.

As replied in your previous post, they're rather nice so make sure you don't leave them stuck in the bank when you pack up!

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish
