Landing net pole
Made a new 6' cane landing net pole ,using the thread for the net off an old entomology net i had laying about
I spend most of my life fishing the Rest i just waste

Thankyou gentlemen,just need to sort the handle end ,ill probably use a butt cap to tidy it up

Finished my net handle ,unfortunatly the fittings i have used are aluminium but i hope to get some brass coloured metal paint to sort this,the handle is from a old glass spinning rod

Also made a new cane landing net arms,i am using a spreader block off the bay but hoping to make one from brass in the near future

Aluminium parts or not I can't understand how this slipped through the net (see what I did there) without anyone commenting on how good it looks. Well done Richard, it looks fabulous.
God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.
