Very nice MGs, and quite few commissions rolling in :laugh1:
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

I'd love to have the time. Running a bit tight just to get this one finished. I had intended to make one for myself, but that will have to wait

Thanks for the comments chaps. Posted off the one to my dad and decided to start on the one for myself. Having done so, I noticed a slight design flaw. The original will be fine for quills, reeds and other relatively narrow floats. Not too bad for my dad as he trots with goose quills. However, I use some bodied balsa and cork avons. It had not occurred to me that these would not fit. They will fit length and width wise. However, the bodies sit proud of the scales. Oops. As I had already put it together, the option of a smaller dowel for the centre strut isn't an option. I have therefore carved out a dip on each side of the centre support. So, if you are going to make one, you may want to bear that in mind. I'll post a picture when I get chance
