I have found in the shop that the juiciness and burstability of maggots does vary from batch to batch. It must be to do with whatever they are feeding on. I'm with you 100% regarding Hempseed and only use it for loose feed. As for Tares...I have never successfully prepared a Tare in my life, despite many attempts.
With regards to golf, I have told many customers that golf is for people that can't catch fish!
