Izaak Walton video!

Post by Snape »

A 47 minute film which documents James Prosek's (artist/writer) travels as he walks in the footsteps of the 17th century English writer, Izaak Walton—"research" for his senior thesis at Yale. :D

Was a good watch but I found it hard to relate to the guy, there is something distant about him.

Also it seemed to turn into a music video near the end!

I think this is the best Izaak Walton video I have seen.

I also have a soft spot for the young Yank who came all this way to pay his respects.

I watched and loved it the other night after stumbling upon by complete accident. The lad is a very talented Angler writer and artist.

I was looking on the forum for where to place a link to the video but Snape's beet me to it again. Nevermind though, as long as you've seen it. :thumb:

I watched this quite a while ago and whilst I liked the idea for the film, I'm with J.T on this one. There is something not quite right, perhaps it was due to the fact it was towards his senior thesis, so a tad artistic, I cannot exactly put my finger on it, but its there.........

The problem with Walton is that it wasn't the fish he was after, it was Maudlin the milkmaid!

I watched it and enjoyed it a while back.

If I remember correctly he was giving a grant to come over here, investigate and write.

Nice work if you can get it!
