PB Wally Chub

Post by Hampshireboy »

Had a few hours down the lovely little River Wallington on Wed with Wallyboy Rob. A new PB Chub at 21/2lb taken on the Chapmans Amwell with Rapidex pin. 4lb line and size 12 hook baited with red maggot. This little river giving up one of its gems again.👍

Excellent fish, well done Steve.

Having now fished the Wally and found it to be an amazing little river, I’m able to appreciate just how good a chub that size is from such a small habitat. :Hat:

Thanks Guys. I was well chuffed with it and boy did it do it’s best to smash me up. Some decent Perch reside in the Wally as well and that is my Winter target.👍
