Free Chub bait...

Post by Aquaerial »

Its that time of year again when us river anglers start leaping about in the garden like demented martial arts students looking for our bait.

Quite fitting then that Kwai Chang Caine was named after this little critter..

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

If they're "flattened" laterally/sideways/bream-style they're grasshoppers, or locusts if you've been shopping online.
If they're flattened dorso-ventrally/top-to-bottom/skate-style, they're crickets.
Flattened by an artiste with a metal baseball bat? Probably a critic.

Fish'em live...small strong barbed or crushed barb hook through the abdomen, light floating braid, let the current and your skill do the searching. The takes are legendary!!
