What a cracking little Tinca, well done that man.
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,

I had one yesterday of about a pound but it was long and with not so much of a pronounced body shape as that little fella.

I caught mine on luncheon meat, I'd never had one before on that.

Well done Wagtail Sir. :Hat:

The few small ones I have caught before were all long lean fish. That's why posted this one, because it had such a lovely deep-bodied tench shape :)
