The Guardian wants us all to go pike fishing as part of our lifestyle http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle ... er-norfolk

I suspect it could be “love”, despite its drawbacks in the rhyming department.

My first thoughts are what length was his trace and how long did he leave it before hitting it ?

A half day would probably be four hours; this would (I assume) include professional tuition, tackle - if needed, bait, use of a boat and fuel. I think £25 an hour is far from unreasonable! :Hat:

Interesting to see this appear in The Guardian which to my knowledge never carries anything about angling of any kind, unlike the other broadsheets. Some of the comments below the line probably show why, although I'll bet that quite a few people round here have been, like me, regular readers since their teens. I don't anticipate any further angling articles there in the near future.
