And that's only the ones people report!
To me all the mystery surrounding still waters is all but gone the only chance I've got of fishing the unknown is the rivers now.
And with the Thames being so vast I can only imagine the uncaught wonders that dwell.
It's the only place I have access to for free that I could potentially catch record sized fish of all species and even better they don't have names!
I know some river carp will ocupiy certain areas and get caught several times and be recognised.
But it's the not knowing of the stock that makes it magical.

Absolutely, I couldn't put that better myself. I just about only fish the Thames. One never knows what might grab yer bait.
