A copy of Carp County was delivered to day and after a
quick flick though it I can't wait to start reading it.
It looks like it all about the Carp waters and the
Carpers that fished them here in Kent
in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Re: Carp County
Didn't Kent Water Board carry out a big stocking of carp in the county in the 60;s?

Re: Carp County
A really good read, Chris persuaded several top guys who never or hardly ever put pen to paper to contribute and there is some great stuff about the sixties. Sadly Chris died shortly after the book was published and therefore could not do a follow up. Mike Starkey was responsible for the layout and printing and of course being a carp angler himself since the early sixties he knew how best to present the book. Well worth getting if you are interested in Kent carp fishing history, plus the Tackle Box have currently reduced the price.
