Having said that Eira and myself are book worms, Angling, shooting, wildlife, countryside, gardening, cookery....we need a bigger cottage!

We visit Hay-on-Wye most years and I ration myself when buying books. I have a small cupboard for my books, one book in - one book out. Some never make it to the cupboard, Oxfam or the bin !

Yes I think its fair to say that my interest in matters fishy has evolved over the years. I probably won't ever read at least 50% of the titles listed above, yet I find the thought of getting rid of them hard. I just don't do trout anymore; Life in Lakes and Rivers was great at the time, but I feel I've moved on. I now like practical stuff for the most part...
