Fish , fishing and the meaning of life

I came across this book which is a collection of fishy stories and snippets selected and introduced by Jeremy Paxman .
A little sceptical at first but I've found it packed with interesting tales ,poems and quotes , few and far between but there are also some vintage illustrations . A good book to dip in and out of .

A lovely book indeed. I have two copies, one for the bookshelf and one to read in the bath with a good single malt....

Ditto, I`ve got the paperback & hard back. A thoroughly good read, made especially interesting, as the account of the pike attack on the boys bathing, the lake is local to me.....
