Fishing thermometer?

Post by LuckyLuca »

The car boot sale threw up what I hope will be s nice handy tool for my winter fishing trips. But I wondered if it was originally intended for this purpose. Scaled if degrees f. Heavy and robust enough to give a decent chuck.
Any thoughts?

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

It'll be a seedbed thermometer I suspect?

Looks like the Archers might have used that at Agincourt to break up the charging knights ..............

Kindly give me due warning if you are proposing to use this on one of our fishing trips. Headline of angler pinned to tree by thermometer is not the way I wish to be remembered. :Hahaha:

Not something I'll be casting Phil. Just a gentle lob on the end of a string .
