Sidewinder

Anyone use one of these,I saw a bloke use one today,he had a nice roach as it happened,he has it fixed to his rod permanently and has been using it for years,got to get one or even make one,any thoughts.

Do you mean the old sticky out thinymebob which clipped onto your rod part way up when ledgering or the newer Polaris float??

Or is it this thingymebob.

I've just dug it out and noticed the end eye is missing. It had a spring loaded eye of the type used on jewellery fastenings, necklaces etc and can easily be soldered on. I may even have the original somewhere.

So it is a quiver type tip? but on the butt. I have one of those indicators with a jewellery fastening and rod clip N-N.
