Over engineered to start with. I remember these on sale in my local tackle shop when I was a lad. Never wanted one when they were cheap but at that price? You could buy a decent reel instead

Lesney collectors - mostly toys - will pay much more than an angler for one. This appears to be 'as new' with a box.
Rather like the £77 one also on ebay! A good used second hand one is about £10.

A 1960 Lesney Garage set on ebay ------ £3000

They usually seem to fetch £10 to £20 depending on condition.Ive seen them with a green painted wing screw.I doubt if anyone uses them. They are a nice little item to have on a desk or shelf.
