Mr Green's Rod - A Chris Yates Film with Fallon's Angler

Post by The Tuesday Swim »

After many years absence from the screen, Chris Yates has coincidently featured in two new films both shot last year, one sponsored by Sticky Baits which I thought was excellent and the other for Fallon's Angler, which is to be launched on the Fallon's Angler YouTube channel around June the 16th. Here is a a sneak preview. It's worth mentioning that Chris and his son William composed and performed all of the music which makes the final film quite a personal experience.

Now this I am looking forward to. Was it filmed where the other Fallons Tench film was captured / made?

Can't wait for this , Mr Yates on the screen is the perfect antidote to the cut and thrust of the modern world.

Reelmaker, the film will be just over 25 minutes long and is very much an immersive experience, nothing to do with beating targets nor chests, it is a film about story telling, memory and the landscape, If you don't get onto the river I do hope will be the next best thing.

I'm particularly looking forward to this as I caught my first fish, in 1959, where the film was made :-)
